2 Easy DIY Birthday Headbands Inspired by Amanda Gorman

2 Easy DIY Birthday Headbands Inspired by Amanda Gorman

There is always a reason to celebrate yourself, but you have the perfect excuse to take that celebration up a notch when your birthday comes around.

For that reason, I was excited that we were launching Birthday Craft Classes and wanted to come up with an easy DIY for born day lovers like myself. The inspiration for this craft started with my love for accessorizing with head scarfs, bandannas, and headbands. And after finding out that Amanda Gorman’s birthday was this month (March 7th), I knew just what to do.

I was one of the millions who were blown away by her talent and style during the inauguration and, of course, this headband moment.

    Directions

    Step 1

Make sure the surface of the headband is free of any lent, dust, etc.

    Step 2

Gather your favorite pom poms and layout how you’d like them to be placed across the headband. Take your time and have fun with this; mine changed a few times.

    Step 3

Place dots of glue where you’d like the pom-poms to be and press down firmly to secure each one.

Note: A grownup will be needed for more adhesive glues.

I hope you love these simple DIY birthday headbands as much as I loved creating them. If your birthday girl tries them out, please share her creation with us using the hashtag #gomakestuff!
