Christmas Tree Craft

These cute Christmas trees are the perfect way to get everyone in the family in on holiday decorating. Our First Arts and Crafts Library is jam packed with larger-sized craft materials that are easily worked into great crafts by kids of all ages. So bring on the tree trimming!

Materials:

- My First Arts and Crafts Library- scissors- hot glue gun (REMINDER: exercise precaution and supervise kids when using a hot glue gun)

Steps:

Popsicle Stick Christmas Tree Unfinished

  1. Form the tree shape -- snip a piece of plastic canvas square to create a trunk. Glue one jumbo craft stick to create the bottom of the tree line. Then glue two craft sticks at an angle to complete the triangle shape. You can trim the ends of the bottom craft stick if you'd like to make a sharper angled tree.

  1. Decorate the tree -- use the bits and bobs from the craft kit to decorate the tree however you'd like, securing with glue as you need. Try winding a fuzzy stick around to create additional tree space for decorating, stick to the outside of the tree frame, or do both!

3. Top it all off -- cut a shape out of the glitter sticker sheets, grab a googly eye, or pick a jumbo gem and glue it on to top off the tree.
