DIY Friendship Pins
If you were a child of the '80s, chances are that you donned a friendship pin. We gave this popular accessory a sweet update with our Candy Charms Jewelry Kit. They are so quick and fun to make. Bead up a whole bunch to give away and keep some to pin on your own gear!
Materials:
- assortment of safety pins
- scissors
Steps:
1. Add initial beads -- use small beads and slide on to the moving prong of the hinged pin.
2. Create vertical strands -- as you work, look for a good place to create a vertical strand using chained nylon cord from the kit. Add a larger bead onto the cord to create a sweet dangly strand.
3. Finish with small beads -- complete beaded prong of the pin.
