- Foodie Craft Kit
- Punny Printable Valentines (download HERE!)
- Scissors
- Craft glue + hot glue gun (optional -- but if you use, remember to exercise precaution and supervise kids)
- Pen, markers, or crayons
Instructions
Step 1 - Craft a culinary creation
Our Foodie Craft Kit has everything you need to make something scrumptious looking from felt (or try the polymer clay!). Here are a few ideas we made to go with our valentines:
Taco
Cut 2 taco shapes out of yellow felt. Cut some taco fillings out of other color felt and sandwich in between the yellow felt, gluing as you go. You may wish to use the hot glue gun to make it more secure. Top with some eyes!
Donut
Use the felt circles to make a donut shape. Cut sprinkles from the sticker sheets and add to finish. Pop on some googly eyes too!
Hot Dog
Make an oval shaped bun out of brown felt. Cut out a little hot dog to go inside. Glue the bun around the hot dog.
Fun Drink
Cut a small piece of sparkle sheet and fold into a cup shape. Glue a small pom pom inside. Snip a small piece of paper straw and glue on as the drink’s straw.
Popsicle
Cut two popsicle shapes out of felt. Glue around a paper straw piece. Decorate as you’d like!
Strawberry
Cut a berry shape out of red felt or sticker paper. Top with green for stem. Use the sticker paper to decorate.
Pizza
Using a yellow felt triangle as the slice, top your pizza with other felt shapes and a brown fuzzy stick for the crust.
Lollipop
Cut a circle out of felt and decorate it with some swirly paper. Glue it onto a paper straw.
Step 2 - Print Valentine Cards
Download our printable valentines HERE. Use scissors to trim each card from the page. And make sure to fill in the “to” and “from” spots. Secure the foodie onto the card with the kit’s glue dots.
Step 3 - Give Away to Some Foodie Friends
Hand out your valentines and make a friend’s day. You can secure the card and craft in a small plastic bag or just hand out as is. Our Design Your Own Valentines Kit is a perfect spot for them too!
Happy Valentine’s Day, foodies!
