Easy Egg Carton Turtles DIY
Make a whole family of turtles using the Paper Mache Turtle Kit and a recycled egg carton! These little turtles are a great project for animal lovers - you can even play with them when you are finished. Follow the steps below to make mini turtles using the kit.
Materials Needed:
- Paper Mache Turtle Kit
- Cardboard egg carton
- Green paint
- Paintbrush
- Green paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
Step 1
Open up your Paper Mache Turtle Kit. Begin by using the kit to decorate the large paper mache turtle inside! You can paint your turtle and then add decorative elements with glue. You will use the leftover materials from the kit to create your baby turtles!
Step 2
To make your baby turtles, begin using green paint to paint the bottom of your cardboard egg carton.
Step 3
Cut out the egg carton cups. Each cup will become a baby turtle.
Step 4
Cut shapes from green paper to create the following parts for each of your mini turtles: 2 front flippers, two back flippers, a head, and a tail. Glue these onto your green egg cartons. Finally, you can use extra supplies from your kit to decorate the mini turtles!
