PAPER SNOWFLAKE PRINTABLE
What craft says winter time like a classic paper snowflake? Use Kid Made Modern’s step-by-step snowflake visual aid to help create your perfect snowflake.
Starting with a square piece of paper, fold diagonally twice until you have a triangle. Fold the triangle into thirds, beginning with the right side. Then, cut a straight line across the bottom of the triangle to remove the bottom points.
Take your folded triangle and cut small shapes into it. If you’re looking to make a specific snowflake shape, our guide provides a few specific ideas. Otherwise, you can leave the shape up to chance, just like a real snowflake!
Here comes the fun part: when you unfold your paper, a magical and unique paper snowflake will be revealed!
If you’d like to add some extra sparkle to your snow, use glittery sheets from the Rainbow Craft Kit to line the exterior of your snowflake. The kit features seven glitter sheets that any color-loving crafter will love to use to make their snowflake shimmer.

WINTER SHAPES DECORATION
Kid Made Modern’s Winter Craft Kit contains shimmering winter wonders that your young crafter will love! Using the kit, you can embellish festive felt snowflake shapes to make a wintry decoration. The shapes in the Winter Craft Kit include snowflakes, ice skates, stars, and even snowmen.
To make a hanging winter shapes decoration, begin by decorating your shapes. Use the glue to attach glitter, pom poms, gems, or fuzzy sticks to the felt.
Next, take the hollow paper tube and loop a sizable amount of cording through the tube, so that there is an equal amount of cording hanging down from either side.
Using a small hole-punch or a pair of scissors, poke a small hole through the top of the decoration. Loop one end of the cording through the hole in the felt and tie to secure. Repeat several times on each side, until you have a mobile of hanging winter decorations! Hang or place the tubing horizontally so that the chain of decorations flows downwards.
FROSTY TREATS NECKLACE
Channel warm weather in the middle of winter with this ice cream inspired jewelry! Kid Made Modern’s Frosty Treats Jewelry Kit helps you to make a Frosty necklace that will match the frosty weather outside.
To begin, pick out a cord in your desired color. Pick out your favorite sweet and colorful beads, and string them onto the cord. To create a textured pattern, include larger ice cream charms in between smaller beads. To make your necklace extra frosty, you can paint your ice cream charms a chilly light purple with the acrylic paints and brush included in the set.
Once you’ve finished stringing your beads, tie the two ends of the cord into a tight knot to complete the necklace.
