Paint Your Own Cardboard Heart Valentines

Materials

• Recycled cardboard 

• Scissors

• Paper 

• Watercolor paints 

• Design Your Own Valentines Kit

Instructions

Step One

Cut cardboard hearts -- Draw or trace a heart shape onto cardboard. Cut out the hearts.

Step Two

Cut paper backing -- Trace your cardboard heart onto paper. Cut out the paper heart and glue onto the back of the cardboard heart. This is where you’ll write your message.

Step Three

Paint hearts -- Flip cardboard hearts over and use the watercolor paints to paint the front.

Step Four

Write a Valentine message -- Use the kit’s pens to write your valentines a sweet message.

Step Five

Decorate -- Break out the kit decorations and add some extra sparkle to your valentine!
