  • ABOUT THE TEACHER (Session 1 & 2)
    • Lisa Pennell has spent the past 6 school years teaching art in Chicago Public Schools. She went to college for art and teaching right in downtown Chicago. Ms. Pennell has also been teaching summer art classes for 7 years, both with her school and the Chicago Parks District. Some of her favorite things in art are to work with clay and she loves taking photos. She loves all kinds of art and helping others learn to love it too!
  • ABOUT THE TEACHER (Session 3)
    • Deneane LoGalbo has worn many hats on the Kid Made Modern team and is thrilled to be our new in-house educator. She's a mom of three, all under the age of 8, and finds that she does most of her creating with her kiddos (except her five-month-old Lily, though she's eager to get her hands on mama's paint). She is a former Chicago-based early childhood educator, and her passion lies in creating art with children, as she believes that creative expression is the best way to let our inner lights shine. She especially loves to use watercolor paint, practice hand-lettering, and explore mixed media.
