If your mini style star loves to accessorize, then this is the class for them! Using our On-The-Go Friendship Bracelet Kit, art instructor Ms. Joslyn will teach students friendship bracelet techniques like simple twist knots over the one-hour session and, depending on their age, move on to a more elaborate knot using the simple twist as a baseline.
In our friendship bracelet class, kids will also discover a positive mantra they'd like to share in their designs, like: be kind, show love, I am brave.
After purchase, you will receive a confirmation of your order. Items will be shipped and will arrive before camp begins. 72 hours before your first class, you will receive Zoom login details and additional instructions about your Craft Class.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Session 1 Instructor
Joslyn Villalpando is a working artist and art educator in Chicago. After studying fine art and art education at the University of Cincinnati, she spent 7 years teaching elementary art. While teaching, she completed her master's degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), studying the impact of craft and fiber art on art education. Her small research group of young participants grew into a little community while learning to weave, sew, embroider, and dye; sharing the stories, memories, thoughts, and ideas that arise when creating together.
Session 2 Instructor
Annie Bueno is an artist / designer / teacher newly based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration/Painting and a Masters of Art in Teaching. She has been teaching students in Chicago and Denver Public Schools for the last five years, and has worked as a freelance graphic designer for many years. Annie loves to tie projects in the classroom to contemporary artists and themes, particularly because she loves all things “specific.” She loves to draw, paint, play sports/be outside, and shares these passions with her husband and two daughters
