Celebrate Women's History Month by honoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg's legacy with a DIY RBG inspired collar.
Have you ever wondered about Ruth Bader Ginsburg's beautiful collection of collars (also known as jabot)? Little did we know, these iconic collars have a ton of meaning behind them! More than a simple accessory to her black robe, these collars became a symbol of her unapologetic and fierce feminist ideals. Join Ms. Deneane to craft and learn as we dive into the history of RGB's jabot collection and her incredible legacy. Your artists will create their very own interpretation of RGB's iconic collar using markers and embellishments. There will be one 1-hour session using supplies found in your provided kit.
After purchase, you will receive a confirmation of your order. Items will be shipped and will arrive before camp begins. 72 hours before your first class, you will receive Zoom login details and additional instructions about your Craft Class.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Deneane LoGalbo has worn many hats on the Kid Made Modern team and is thrilled to be our new in-house educator. She's a mom of three, all under the age of 8, and finds that she does most of her creating with her kiddos (except her five-month-old Lily, though she's eager to get her hands on mama's paint). She is a former Chicago-based early childhood educator, and her passion lies in creating art with children, as she believes that creative expression is the best way to let our inner lights shine. She especially loves to use watercolor paint, practice hand-lettering, and explore mixed media
