DIY Mini Christmas Tree
Looking for a perfect way to ring in the season? Get into the Christmas spirit with these adorable and artistic DIY Mini Christmas Trees! This craft is perfect for the chic and unique Christmas crafter! Using colorful paper, plus Kid Made Modern’s Charm Chest Jewelry Kit, you’ll have an adorable DIY tree!
To begin, roll a piece of paper lengthwise into a cone. Secure the top of the cone with tape or glue.
Next, grab some paper — you can use colorful construction paper, or create your own colorful paper by painting patterns onto paper with Kid Made Modern’s Wondrous Watercolor Kit Kid Made Modern’s Wonderful Watercolor Kit! Cut your colorful paper into rectangles about 1’’ to 1 1/2 ‘’ long.
Starting at the base of the cone, attach the trips of paper to the cone with double-sided tape or glue (you can use our Arts and Crafts Library to find scissors and glue.) As you make your way up the tree, overlap the strips of paper to create a “fringe” effect.
Next, it’s time to paint your decorations! The charms from the Charm Chest Jewelry Kit are the perfect size to make magical mini-ornaments. Use the paint in the kit to give your charms a boost of color, and then use the string to tie a small loop through the holes on the top of the charms. Hang from the paper tree, and voila! You’ll have an adorable Mini DIY Tree.

Christmas Tree Craft
If you’re looking to make your tree a bit more unique, look no further than this fun and funky craft! Using Kid Made Modern’s My First Arts And Crafts Library, you’ll have all the tools you need to make a terrific holiday tree.
To start, form the tree shape! Take three jumbo craft sticks and glue them together at an angle to form a triangle. If you’d like a trunk for your tree, snip a piece of plastic canvas square and glue to the bottom of the triangle.
Next, get to decorating! Glue pom poms, fuzzy sticks, and other crafty accessories onto the tree. For some extra flair, wrap a fuzzy stick around the center of the triangle to fill the negative space with glittery goodness.
A Christmas Tree is never complete without a tree topper! Cut any shape you’d like out of the glitter sheets — or grab a googly eye or a jumbo gem! Your unique and creative tree will help make this Christmas one to remember.

Cardboard Gingerbread People
Looking to enjoy gingerbread this holiday, but want to skip the sugar? Use cardboard to make these classic Gingerbread People! For this craft, you’ll need the supplies from your Arts and Crafts Library, plus our Jewelry Jam Kit.
The first step is to create your gingerbread shapes. With a pencil, outline your gingerbread people on a large piece of cardboard. You can trace a cookie cutter for the perfect shape, or freestyle it. Then, cut the gingerbread shapes out with the scissors found in the Arts and Crafts Library.
Once you have your gingerbread shapes, it’s time to give them personality and style! Give your gingerbread the gift of sight by gluing googly eyes from the Library. To give them hats, cut and glue small pieces of fuzzy sticks on to the top of the head, topped off with a pom pom.
To create fabulous accessories for your fashionable gingerbread, use beads from the Jewelry Jam Kit and fuzzy sticks from the Library to glue colorful patterns and make mini-sweaters and snow pants!

Cardboard Gingerbread House DIY
Give your Gingerbread people a home with this Cardboard Gingerbread House DIY. This craft is especially great for all those extra cardboard boxes lying around during the holidays. This craft puts all that cardboard to good use, and the result is an adorable little hand-crafted house! Kid Made Modern’s Holiday Craft Kit helps to make this craft a hit.
Since your crafter will be using scissors and a hot glue gun, adult supervision is encouraged for this craft.
First, cut and assemble your cardboard pieces. Measure one side of the house with a ruler and a pencil, and cut it out. Use the first side to cut out and trace the remaining three. Use a hot glue to adhere all four sides. Then, cut out two equal pieces of cardboards and glue to the top of the house to create the roof.
Use a paint pen or markers to draw on the doors and windows, and then it’s time to decorate! Use the great pieces included in the Holiday Craft Kit to adorn your house with all the holiday trimmings. Sweeten up the roofline with candies, or create a wreath out of bells. The possibilities are endless with this awesome kit!
